Business Description
Frame Crust is a next generation hardware and AI software ecosystem reimagining how stop motion animation is created, taught, and scaled. It unites precision engineering, artificial intelligence, and a cohesive production framework to make high quality stop motion accessible for creators, institutions, and studios. Founded by a designer engineer and supported by educators and animators, Frame Crust aligns with Make in India, AVGC XR, and Atmanirbhar Bharat, transforming India from an importer of animation tools to a global producer of affordable, industry grade equipment.
The stop motion industry remains largely inaccessible due to its dependence on precision tools and a centralized market led by the US, UK, and Spain. These regions dominate production, resulting in inflated costs for countries like India that rely on imports. As a result, students and independent creators struggle with DIY setups and often leave the field. Frame Crust bridges this gap by offering locally manufacturable, precise, and affordable tools that empower creators to produce world class work without dependence on foreign suppliers.
Its foundation is the Core Hardware Platform, featuring reengineered tools like dual dial winders, modular armatures, and motion rigs built for accuracy and durability. The ecosystem also includes MotionDesk, the world’s first modular stop motion workstation that lets students experience studio grade setups and become industry ready. Complementing this is the AI Puppet Builder, the world’s first automated tool that reduces puppet design time from weeks to minutes, making the creative process faster and seamless.
Frame Crust operates on a diversified model including direct sales, institutional setups, software subscriptions, and workshops. Its long term strategy supports national training infrastructures and patent protected designs, positioning India as a competitive global hub for stop motion innovation while driving economic, creative, educational, and social.
